JUNIOR ACADEMY CELLO STUDENT HONOURED WITH HIGH ACHIEVER AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING SUCCESS IN EXAMINATION

Congratulations to Aideen O'Halloran (Aged 12) of Birr, Co.Offaly on recieving a High Achiever Award.

Aideen,
a student of Cello with teacher Agata Matelska was chosen out of 45,000 students to receive a "High Achiever Award" for excellence in musical ability, and for outstanding performance in her recent music examination.

The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) senior examiners recently revealed the names of the successful students. This is the Seventh year in a row that students of the Academy of Music in Tullamore have been awarded such a high accolade.

In addition to receiving her award Aideen has been invited to audition for a chance to perform in front of a distinguished group of guests and high profile musicians in a special regional Gala Concert that will take place prior to the Award ceremony in November.

The Awards
Ceremony acknowledged the commitment, of students who participate in the Academy’s Local Centre Examination System each year.
