Grace receives the Highest Junior Certificate
Music Result in Ireland
Academy Student and student of
Killina School, Grace Minnock from
Rahan, Co.Offaly has received the "Highest
Junior Certificate Music
Result in
Ireland" last year.
The Junior Certificate music exam integrates two exams. The first part
is the exam is on the written music paper on the school curriculum (taught at
school), and the “Practical Exam” taught at the Academy of Music is when the
Student performs pieces on their instrument/singing.
Grace completed her Junior Certificate in Killina School last June
2017 and
has been identified by the “State Examinations Commission” as one of the highest achieving
students in Ireland in the Junior Certificate in Music.
“We are absolutely delighted for Grace; She has worked extremely hard
to achieve this. She has a real interest in Music and with the support of the
great staff at Killina School, the Academy and her family, she is excelling in
her Music studies. We wish her every success in the future and we are extremely
proud of her.”
